I just lost an entire summer because of Covid. Tested positive on my birthday. Looks like, I’ll be kicking off another new year sick because I’m surrounded fed by people who are in denial. Joyeux Noël to me I guess.

I’ve run out of ways to explain to these people, my husband included, that I do not want to get sick. I don’t want a cold or the flu and I very much do not want Covid (AGAIN!) but they do not care. I miss the days people canceled plans because they had a tickle in their throat. Fuck!

It’s an obscene amount of fake money. It’s crushing debt. And here’s the thing: I could not get a credit card when I was employed or freelancing. Got approval when I checked the « homemaker » box. A box I clicked just to see. And it worked. No cash flow? No problem. Here’s some debt for you, enjoy!
