From WAPO: “Any news outlet reporting Mexico conceded anything to Trump to get him to delay tariffs has not done its homework. Trump boasts he got Mexico to commit to stationing 10K troops at our border. Apparently he didn’t realize Mexico already has 15K troops deployed there[.]”

This week, amidst a broader purge of LGTBQ-mentioning materials from federal health sites, NIAID deleted its HIV Language Guide, an important reference on destigmatizing, people-first terminology. But it's still a public domain document, so we reposted it on TheBody:

Mexico kinda looking better by the day
Latest: Mexico denied a U.S. military plane access to land Thursday, at least temporarily frustrating the Trump administration's plans to deport immigrants to the country, according to two U.S defense officials.
Mexico refuses to accept a U.S. deportation flight

The White House website no longer has a Spanish-language version. It has removed a disclaimer promising to make it accessible to people with disabilities. And a number of federal agencies have removed web pages related to reproductive rights and diversity.
Government webpages vanish under Trump, from DEI to reproductive rights
Some deletions are standard for any administration, but others seem to indicate Trump’s intent to reshape government.
