Last week our colleague Dr Charlotte Faucher was invited to speak at the plenary session of the The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) Paris conferences on Education and Arts and Humanities alonside Ambassadors Paolo Sabbatini Rancidoro and Takehiro Kano & IR scholar, Frédéric Ramel.

Last week, Dr Clare Siviter represented the UK Young Academy in Hyderabad, India, which hosted the International Conference for Young Scientists and the Global Young Academy’s AGM.

Last weekend, our Head of Subject Professor @susanharrow.bsky.social Ashley Watkins Chair of French gave a public lecture entitled ‘Solitude in a Social Century’. It was part of a weekend adult education course run by the Royal Academy, London devoted to c19th visual cultures.

Our colleague Dr Alain Serge Agnessan (Research Associate on the AFRIUNI project) hosted and interviewed Christiane Taubira last week as part of the Abidjan International Book Fair. Alain also launched his new novel, Adieu à Kourouma, during the same event. Congratulations, Alain!!
