Seems to me that we've already codified the penalty for treason... and if this administration doesn't constitute treason I don't know if treason even means anything anymore.

I think it says more about the women the Dems choose to run, but yeah; I'm sure sexism is also a factor. It usually is.

If the jury won't convict, the defendant is acquitted. The judge's job prior to conviction is to facilitate the case being properly presented, and in the event of a conviction, to determine the sentence.
