If ICE isn't comfortable operating in an environment where the whole neighborhood turns out to watch ICE operate, if they feel like they need to make arrests in secret, with no cameras on, that's ICE's problem, not mine.

The reason they’re trying to break everything so fast is that they know they’re likely in for a historic loss in the midterms (even with their current redistricting bullshit).
Winning state and local elections and getting a House majority (at minimum) is our priority right now.

Yes. I would expect lawsuits immediately. There are clear rules for RIFs, and this seemingly violates all of them.
Thank a federal worker, though - a good chunk of them are working without pay, even more of them are wondering if they’ll have to fight to even HAVE a job. Morale sucks right now.
