Overall I'm super proud of this system and the technical approach to programming and integrating it all was really fun. I can't wait to show off some of the other features in future weeks but I'll be taking a break from posting for a bit to focus on a game jam that I don't want to spoil! (4/4)

I even added a wall jump! Because the wall check runs independently it means that adding the jump was as simple as adding an impulse to the player. When it notices the player has left the wall it automatically resolves the player's movement thanks to the state machine that I love so much! (3/4)

If a valid wall is found the wall run is initiated which maintains the players speed and stops them from falling. Each frame checks the wall again to get its normal vector. Using some math the player can maintain their speed and height to run across any vertical wall even if it curves! (2/4)
