I've got a little gameplay update here for Project Gardener, showing off some of the movement abilities and a level in development. We've been having a blast tuning things and getting playtesters in the project and I can't wait to share our demo in the future.

We've been making some awesome progress on Project Gardener. Here's some of the level work we've done to enhance the visual design of our game! Still working on ironing out some technical bugs (if you know anything about run-time mesh deformation lmk) but we're getting closer to the beta!

Does anyone have any advice on how to achieve this effect in UE5.4? I made this prototype with the #GeometryScript plugin but it only works in the editor.
I was thinking voxels but don't know of any free/cheap plugins that work like this. Would love to get some help!

Here's a sneak peak at the new #DnD class I made based on Guardians from the #Destiny franchise! I plan on releasing more sneak peaks over time while I work on playtesting this class and develop more content to release but I'm looking forward to sharing it with everyone!

Working on the finishing touches for my first Membership-exclusive #DnD post.
Spent the better part of this month working on all the details, refining flavor, balancing abilities, and driving home the identity for this #Destiny2 - based Guardian class!

Just got started on my first #HollowKnight mod called Charmaggedon! I'll be overhauling charms (wow unique I know) to give them new mechanics. I wanted to give a lil preview of what's in store for this mod by showing off my initial proof of concept!

Had a great time last week with a (mini) booth with the Indie Showcase event at the Enoch Pratt Library! Had a great time showing off our projects and even got a little section in a Vice article! Can't wait to come back next year with even better work to show off :D #ScreenshotSaturday

I even added a wall jump! Because the wall check runs independently it means that adding the jump was as simple as adding an impulse to the player. When it notices the player has left the wall it automatically resolves the player's movement thanks to the state machine that I love so much! (3/4)

If a valid wall is found the wall run is initiated which maintains the players speed and stops them from falling. Each frame checks the wall again to get its normal vector. Using some math the player can maintain their speed and height to run across any vertical wall even if it curves! (2/4)

The bread and butter of this project for #ScreenshotSaturday: The Movement State Machine! We needed a centralized system to easily track and manage what the player is doing while leaving room to integrate more features and this was the solution!

For this #ScreenshotSaturday here's one of the first things I helped create for Project Gardener - this FoV state machine!

Took a bit to figure out the math of it all and how to fit it into the gameplay in a cohesive manner but I'm really happy with how it turned out!

First ever GDC in the bag! I’m super happy to have been able to attend this year thanks to the IGDA. I met a bunch of amazing people and learned a ton from some great speakers and friends. Looking forward to the future and making some great work thanks to my experience at GDC this year :D

Had the chance to verify this claim in person today. Denver layover on my way to GDC and I can confirm it’s massive but I couldn’t get any concrete numbers
