No.223 is still under wraps. There's been a few leaks to the press. No tellin' if it'll become what it was originally intended to be. 🤐👀 (Made from upcycled, team worn gear, 2024.)

No.005 was my first Jordan mask, modeled by a friend on the fire escape of my Ktown apartment (LA, 2011).

This piece was the one the caught the attention of blogs and the sneaker community, the exposure really helped kick off my career.

Sharing the history of my work is cool, but how about a look at some recent work? Like No. 224!

This #TokyoGhoul mask is made from a single pair of Triple Black adidas Y-3 Kaiwas.

You can see more of this mask here: www.freehandprofit.com#/no-224-adid...

No.004, made from "Savage Beast" Nike Air Force Ones (2011).

What became clear to me is how important photography was to the work. I often credit Sandy Skoglund's work as a major inspiration. Her ability to create surrealist environments spurred my own desire to bend reality.

Close ups of my latest illustration, "Wolf on the Run".

The first sample print came back but wasn't what I was looking for. I'll get another set ordered asap, looking forward to hand embellishing these.

No.003, made from Puma Post Up Highs (2010).

The early work was rough and raw but part of what kept me coming back to make more masks was the challenge and all the ways I could improve on the process.

No.002, made from all black Converse Chuck Taylors. Modeled by Sebastian Bleak in La Cienega (LA).

These masks originated from a yearlong daily project called MASK365 where I made or designed a new mask every day from a variety of materials.

Since 2010 I’ve been making one of a kind masks from sneakers.

New app, so let’s start from the beginning…

No.001, made from “Green Spark” Nike SB Blazers purchased for $20 from a Nike Outlet in Vero Beach, Florida. Photographed in Sherman Oaks, California.
