Welcome to Black Friday, White Friday, Big Friday or whatever your local sale scape hell for folks in that industry. Time for some alliteration for #BirdOfTheDay to escape the retail chaos, in the form of a beautiful baby bluebird in the #MorningLight 🐦 🦉

Most jarring to me about the Edmund Fitzgerald was the evidence suggesting its sinking happened in just *seconds*, rather than the prolonged event you may be familiar with from the Titanic.

50 years ago this evening.
On This Date: The Edmund Fitzgerald Sank In Lake Superior | Weather.com
It's one of the most infamous ship sinkings in American history, and still shrouded in mystery decades after a chart-topping song was written about it. Here's what we know about the Edmund Fitzgerald.

The word ESQUIVALIENCE appears in the New Oxford American Dictionary with the definition "the wilful avoidance of one's official responsibilities". It is an entirely made up word, designed as a copyright trap, so that anyone copying the dictionary's contents will be found out.

Labour promised to restore nature. ❌

Instead, their Planning Bill contains a licence to destroy it.

We offered solutions. We’re done waiting.

Part 3 of the Bill would gut the laws protecting our most precious habitats & species.

Without significant change, it must be scrapped.

Did you know horses use their sense of smell to not only identify other horses — but also to assess social status within the herd? That’s why sometimes there’s a big SQUEAL when they greet & sniff hello!
