I have a working theory that this is because the socks are too tight. Once they see and try low socks themselves, they find it more comfortable (or maybe it's just cool.)

Is there any way (and value) to avoid double counting full squad rotations? Like if match 1 and 3 have the same lineup, but you changed the whole team for match 2, I feel like counting the 11 changes from 2 to 3 is wrong. Can't think of a way off the top of my head.

I'm scratching my head a bit to find what I would've done. Hincapie for Cala for the fresh legs, but hard to find anyone to give us more control. Maybe MLS on to keep the ball, but for who I don't know.

Imagine taking off Gyökeres for Kai in this game. It's a whole different picture. We are good enough to win this game, but over time injuries and a lot of games will lead to some of these results. Today was that day.

Annoying. Felt like we were running on empty towards the end. Only made one substitution. I think Arteta didn't feel like he had any control to put on from the bench. We did not seem to be able to turn down the heat, and went for counters instead.

I think Billy Carpenter has mentioned this, and the norwegian commentators also did in the first half. More ball in play time favours the better team. Arsenal are not wasting time on throw-ins this half.

I noticed he said Brentford was "two days later" from Frankfurt, as well. That was wednesday to saturday. Spinning narrative or not understanding how time works?

We went through some of the same last year, although not in a run. In my opinion Arteta handled it better.
