I still have a lot of room to grow in the world of design systems, but I'm proud of the chat I had with @storybook.js.org a couple years ago.

It's tough to bust through the imposter syndrome, anxiety, etc. At one point I think I blacked out like Frank the Tank.

Props to all the creators out there!

I need someone to explain to me what's so exciting about having a Bevi installed in your office.

My LLM complimented my "architectural thinking" today so I added "architect" to my job title on LinkedIn. Hoping it calls me a "thought leader" next.

When I'm not geeking out about design systems I'm usually geeking out about shuffleboard. Super happy with how this pilot came out! Have a gander if you like weird games.

@scottjehl.com when are we gonna get you on an episode? 😁

Heard @billsimmons.bsky.social praise the chowder at Chatham Bars Inn on his pod awhile back, finally got a chance to try it for myself.

Bill was right (as usual), best chowder I've had in 20 years of coming to the Cape.

Got a buzzcut a couple weeks ago because my barber keeps screwing up my hair. Described the process as periodically needing to `git reset HEAD --hard` and the joke was way more clever than I meant for it to be.

Seems like @nytimes.com mini crossword is only available to subscribers now... I've been a subscriber in the past but never felt like I was getting my money's worth.

Anyone know any decent daily alternative?

came out of design retirement for a night to create a potential t-shirt print for my shuffleboard team. inspired by a teammate's comment about being the "bad boys" of the league... maybe i redesign the detroit pistons bad boys logo next season?

1. the product relies on the system.
2. the system is unaware of the product.

wait did google just launch a feature that is useful and also not a pure profit play? i don't believe it.

extremely skeptical of course, but i don't hate the idea of chrome bringing AI directly to dev tools to help with the debugging process.

I'm choosing to believe that Ozzy's first point of business in the afterlife was collecting Hulk Hogan's racist, ignorant, elitist, union-busting soul.

Rot in hell, brother.

RIP to the Prince of Darkness.

I didn't learn about Black Sabbath until my early 20's. Since then they've been one of the most influential bands in my life, and I truly believe one of the most influential bands of all time.

Ozzy was polarizing, reckless, often unhinged, but he was a kind soul.

I'm sure the overwhelming positive reenforcement my LLM is providing me will lead to some sort of psychological damage over time, but for now it feels pretty good. 😊

Even if I'm not looking for work, I tell every recruiter who reaches out with an on-site role that I'm only interested in remote or remote-first hybrid roles. And even if that's not true, I'd like to think it's a step in the right direction.

Am I crazy or can Github MCP not access code in PR history? Installed it to revive some code from a previously closed PR (to work into a new PR) but apparently no access.

LLM was still able to handle it via Git CLI, but I figured this would be an ideal use case for Github MCP.
