They’re such a beautiful flower. A while back, I was bikeriding with friends past a vast field of opium poppies and we stopped to snap a few pics.

My Hippy child and its mother. First time they have flowered in about 5 years. I very nearly gave up on them.
I have no idea why they chose this year to bloom but Im glad they did.
