Just tired of being tired. Hoping it might help.

Of course! Part of it is learning which fakes work for best for which dishes and of course which fakes you can do or not do.

Yes, to the hard changes. Your taste sense will change too. My goal is a sugar-free month next year. Not looking forward to it!

Daiya switched to oatmilk in some of its shreds and that has helped the texture and taste a lot. Their products were pretty waxy years ago. And I hear you: Definitely a compromise, never a substitute.

If you need a cheese "fix," there are lots of nondairy options out there. If you like melty cheese for quesadillas, try Daiya shreds. For mac n cheese, Kraft notco options are pretty good. I struggle with too many sweet teeth, though.

Of course. That's what you do.

I ended up using a buillion cube for the seasoning. It smelled amazing!

May I ask the Idaho bean brand? Palouse is good for basics, but sometimes you want something different.

The vegetables! So much quality and variety! So many teas on the shelf! And RANCHO GORDO in the wild?! Absolutely amazing. Only one store here carries fresh bean sprouts, for Pete's sake.

The recipe is a bit above my skill level but I might give it a try anyway and see how it goes!

Whereas I excel in spatial and pattern-based problems. I struggle with many other things, though. Many of your home projects I never would have finished!

Your house is so cute!

It's also in how their brains function. I knew of a brilliant woman who could conceptualize and draw maps but could not figure out how to run a copier. It was too hard for her to figure out.

As I try to build the photo blog and presence, I have deliberately avoided that site because of all the garbage. How can anyone's work stand out in all that chaos? Plus by the time someone does get to your work buried at the bottom, they're probably already fatigued from all the random crap.

They definitely do! I have the Nora Cooks one bookmarked and the one I found today was Derek Sarno's on YouTube.
