Played a bit with the Sofort2 this evening. Three, 2-year-old cats meant a lot of blurry photos as the camera is quite slow and bulky. Kind of fun learning which images come out best, though.

Not the most appetizing color but the butternut squash and pear soup tastes surprisingly sweet.

I have been stalking one of these for a while. Thousands are available from Japan, but the tariffs scared me off. This one came from a rehabber in Virginia who only sells this model.

Indonesian stir fry with green beans, tempeh, and udon. I used a sauce called kecap manis, which is more sweet than you might expect.

Round two of the tofu ricotta spread came out much better. It probably helps I had a recipe instead of guestimating from a video. Definitely a keeper!

Someone was chewing on her stitches this morning so cone time it is. I slept on the recliner and she curled up with me. She has such an expressive face.

One year ago today I drove my baby girl two hours to the emergency vet. All day, test after test, showed she didn't have a chance. I let her go that evening. I still miss her every day.

Gray kitten was not happy about her vet check-up, but she is otherwise healthy. Down 1/3 pound, but that's OK. She forgave me for the Grand Day Out the next morning.

My house panther had his annual check-up today and passed with flying colors. He has gained 1.36 pounds, putting him just over 12 pounds now. Growing boy!
