An early wip Wednesday. I have to spend all day tomorrow writing a technical assessment 😞
He gives Taehyung a shrug, and takes off into the trees on foot. It's easier this way, to shift when his body is already in motion. The crack of his bones is eased by his rapid movements, the pain of his skin ripping into fur, his teeth bursting through his gums. It happens in a blur of motion, pale white skin turning to pure animal. Jeongguk's wolf is small, small even for an omega. He's snowy and delicate, with fur that doesn't roughen even in the extremities of the forest. It's always been something his pack loves about him, their baby and his cute beast, but the hardest part for Jungkook to accept about himself. To be so small at the core. So vulnerable in your truest form. But when he runs, Jungkook is all wolf. So attuned to his omega that the fear melts away. He doesn't have to be anything other than this white wolf that moves like a phantom, that tears through the forest without a nick. He doesn't have to worry about how he's perceived or who is watching him. He just runs, and runs, paws hammering on the earth like a violent snare Drum.
