Weasel wording. Example: in response to the assertion that ICE/CBP are arresting US citizens, DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said, “We don’t arrest US citizens for immigration enforcement.” No one seems to have asked the logical follow-up question, "What do you arrest US citizens for?"

I shared a dream ... that was slowly, gradually being realized. Maybe you did too. Then a misnomer calling itself MAGA tried to slow and reverse the realization of that dream. They are hard at it even today. They and their hateful philosophy have to go. Vote the bums out! Let truth have its way.

According to DHS leadership, a citizen can be arrested and detained for "impeding" ICE operations. Thus, there is a potential conflict with the exercise of the constitutional right of speech and assembly and ICE actions depending upon the definition of "impede." Has DHS provided their definition?

Lest there be any confusion about whether all Republicans should be opposed and dethroned everywhere possible, we take note that they all eventuall fold. They are all at least tacitly complicit. The only solution is to vote against all Republicans at every opportunity and at all levels.

Apparently, wealthy folks continue to spend, spend, spend despite price inflation due to tariffs and other admin econ policies. This emboldens many retailers to pass on more and more of the added tariff expense to consumers. The not-so-wealthy and the poor will suffer more because of this.

Investing huge sums in Venezuela, Greenland, Argentina, etc., instead of investing in the American people and their land should properly be called Trump's Folly by historians of the future. That story will be in sharp contrast to Seward's Folly.

Not only is the release of the Epstein files now in violation of the letter of the law, the extent of redactions violate the spirit of that law. DOJ cannot be trusted so a Special Master should and must be appointed to moderate the release of all Epstein files, including recordings & metadata.

According to Trump, the US will take Venezuelan oil and sell it at market prices. Those revenues will go into offshore accounts and be controlled exclusively by Trump himself, neutering a key function of Congress, Power of the Purse (Article 1, Section 9, US Constitution).

Question: Do we have any clarity on whether state and/or local authorities can arrest, try and potentially convict a federal operative who has apparently murdered a citizen in that state/local jurisdiction? I don't see the MSM taking up this question yet. Anyone want to respond authoritatively?

Greenland. The consensus seems to be that an American incursion into Greenland would destroy NATO. So what, if anything, would rise to replace it? One possibility is that the current NATO would dissolve itself and then create a new NATO sans US. Surely this is not a new idea in Europe.

The use of a facial recognition app by ICE compounds the problem with their circumvention of due process. Incorrectly identifying someone as having a deportation order might result in wrongful deportation action that might be fully successful, even in the case of American citizens.

Based on this image we can tell that hard disk drives were part of what was collected in the Epstein case. I don't imagine that the DOJ will share the actual hardware and therein lies what could be a serious problem. Deleted files can sometimes be recovered. Will the DOJ treat them as nonexistant?

Eight more people blown out of the water and killed yesterday w/o due process. So if contesting evidence in a court of law is no longer necessary, how long will it be before preemptive punishment of the sort depicted in the movie "Minority Report" becomes normative?
