And here's how I did in NFBC leagues. Another subpar showing on that front. Safe to say we got beat pretty badly in the 'Beat FBT' league! I'm still in the process of diagnosing what went wrong on these teams. I'll talk more about that on pods this week, lessons learned, etc.

Logan Webb quietly introduced a cutter last September and it worked. He used it 12% of the time and it produced a .100 BAA, .187 xwOBA and a 30% whiff rate. Here's a quote he provided after his last start in Arizona.

Finished up this underdog best ball draft recently. Got a Dbacks stack, some Yankees, Dodgers. Only thing I’m unsure of is optimal roster construction. How many pitchers should you wind up with? In hindsight, feels like I should’ve have at least seven, maybe even eight.

Finally hanging years worth of Comic Con posters!
First 10 rounds of a NFBC Gladiator draft. 15-team Roto from the 12th pick. You draft your starting lineup and that's it! Done for the year. Hope everybody stays healthy. As for the team, Steven Kwan requires a specific build but I didn't get that BA base early. Felt I needed him.

I agree with early ADP that Logan Gilbert should be the SP4. He's a proven workhorse with 185+ IP three years in a row and his skills continue to improve. Here's where he ranked among qualified SP:

- 4th in xERA
- 1st in SwStr%
- 2nd in Stuff+

This is the squad from my first 2025 NFBC draft. 12-team Roto draft-and-hold from the 9th pick. A few takeaways:
- High-end SP went later than I thought
- First base dries up fast
- Second base is deep
- Hammer OF before round 30
- I need to focus more on rate stats (evergreen)
