I'm just constantly remembering those reports I saw out of tumblr back in 2016 suggesting a decent chunk of the online disinfo campaigns targeted leftists, with the specific goal of getting us at each others throats.

pretty much. the baby trans starting area is like Plato’s allegory of the cave, in that they’re learning to see past the shadows and sources of trans/misogyny before emerging into broader communities that fit better as a whole person rather than trans as the only defining characteristic of self.
