A little trip out on the Kawasaki.
Bright and dry. (Me too.)
Refuelling at Krazy Horse.

An old pal from government service days called by.

He speaks seven languages including exotica.

And also has a phenomenal recall of my past misdemeanours.

Including some I had conveniently forgotten.

The people’s train 🎶

Then raise the ticket prices high,
As in the crush for seats we vie,
Commuters flinch and trippers hear,
The people’s train’s not stopping here.

Santa Frank’s first gig.
A hoot.
December 8, 2025 at 12:52 PM
A little early, I know.

To Mildenhall where the rain miraculously stopped in time for Parkrun.

Lap 1 in 4 layers
Lap 2 removed coat
Lap 3 cast off long-sleeved top.

Remembered to collect garments.

A minute off last week’s lamentable performance, and, if my place was my age, I’d be under 60 again.

If only …

While Mrs Frank and the choir entertained old folk in the nursing home with seasonal crooning, I took the kitchen sink waste apart for ritual cleansing.

Back in the land of the moving.

0930 RPM with Dastardly Debra
1030 AquaAerobics with Lively Lucy
1130 Decaf Americano. Just Frank

One eye on the 3 hour car park limit

Otherwise no rush.

There’s a choir practice going on at home.

Never mind the chancellor, I feel misled over the pronunciation, or perhaps the spelling, of misled.

RPM at 0830
Another social event
Only sweatier than Park Run
November 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM
A supremely social, if damp, Parkrun.

Lots of pals, including:

Little Frank - who introduced me to the weekly 5k
Two Circuits buddies
A fellow RPM addict
The mum of one former and the dad of one current pupil.
A Brandon biker
And one Fernhopper (Rtd).

No partridge and no pear tree.

Parkrun in the rain was not part of the plan.

But I think there’s a waterproof in the boot.

Well, at least I hope so.

Two hours up and down a ladder with the gardener, followed by my Thursday trip to the recycling centre with two big bags of apple tree prunings.

Drat.

Got my blue Brexit passport today.

Feck ‘em.

But if I were a stick of seaside rock, it would say “European”.

To Thetford to collect a carload of tools for TWAM.
A former teaching colleague and partner (92) still thinking of others.
There is hope.

D37 eyeing up my latest purchase, quizzically.

Where do you actually buy CDs these days?

Happy Skircleday.

Out to Sunday lunch.

“It’s venison for a change.”

(But not for me. I had it yesterday.)
November 23, 2025 at 4:24 PM
AGM at Rougham Tower.
November 23, 2025 at 10:37 AM
Lunch at Ethel’s today.
Venison pie.
Can’t beat the Union Jack Club!
November 22, 2025 at 8:05 PM
To St Edmundsbury Cathedral for a concert by the choir of St Martin in the Fields. With Zeb Soanes.
Visibility good.
Sea state slight.
November 21, 2025 at 10:48 PM
Don’t know how this happened, but D1 is 40 today.

How time flies.

All-expenses trips to China off then?

Who’d have known that skulduggery was involved?
November 18, 2025 at 4:08 PM
Raking leaves (my neighbour’s).
It’s therapeutic.
Sort of.
