I love the argument that being conservative is somehow now “punk rock”. Yes. SO punk rock to “back the blue”, advocate for prayer in school, obsess about someone’s gender and whine about what’s “legal” immigration. I guess “punk” to them means deepthroating the boot.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Finally watched the Severence finale. I personally loved it, but I understand where it might have lost people’s interest. For me, it’s hitting this sweet spot of drama, sci-if and dark comedy. I like it. Ready for the next season.

I’m not savy to the controversy with Substack. What are the alternatives people like using? I know it’s hard to avoid since MOST companies have some sort of problematic aspect, but is there one people recommend as an alternative? Or is this something people don’t care about and still use Substack?
