Jôno opting to snuggle against him and burrowing deeper inside the covers instead of even attempting to reach for his pajamas to put it back on was by no means a novelty at that point. That didn’t mean Tetchô felt any less blessed because he pretty much expected at that point. Quite the opposite, since it only took him the same split second as always to start beaming. “One would say you’d be used to this by now.” His partner commented, evidently having not missed any of the telltale signs; that would never happen, less of all being so physically close. “Strictly speaking, I am.” Tetchô shrugged, slightly. “Oh, you are?” Amusement spilled from Jôno’s words more than evidently. “Doesn’t seem like it to me, honestly.” Sure, he was smiling as if he had just received a medal, and his heartbeat quickly matched the way he felt. But that didn’t mean Tetchô wasn’t used to it, not really. He was. His reactions just didn’t get tamer with time. “I know it’s coming and it doesn’t shock me. It simply fills me with so much joy I can’t stop myself. And I don’t want to, either.” He replied, lifting both arms to wrap his partner in them. On the way, one of his hands brushed a bite mark on Jôno’s thigh he had asked for during Tetchô’s journey to pleasure him, and he couldn’t help but hum in satisfaction too. “Good.” Was all Jôno replied about that topic, because Tetchô lingering a bit tracing said mark apparently called for a change. “Don’t go all smug, though.” “Am not.” He immediately said; ‘smug’ was, definitely, not the best term to describe his current mood-- or rather, not until Jôno’s words prompted him to, since he had a counter-attack. “That wasn’t what you said before, though.” As a response, his boyfriend opted to pinch his arm with intensity, something which felt more like playful retaliation than downright punishment. “Don’t go all smug.” He repeated, as if a compliment wasn’t coming right after it. “You have reasons to be, still. Sure.” Jôno then huffed, in a way that Tetchô had learned to register as feigning indignation. And yet, he placed a soft kiss to the top of Jôno’s head, partly to play the game and pretend to pacify him when there was no need to, partly simply for the sake of it. “We have to make this quick.” Fukuzawa said, as if it wasn’t painfully obvious; not only would Ranpo not be out forever, but he was supposed to arrive in a few hours at most. Likely less, since he was always rather quick when it came to solving anything, and Natsume had assured he would take the kid directly back home after. Sure, perhaps not even him could resist Ranpo’s plea for snacks, but still. “Then, what are you stalling for, Fukuzawa-dono?” Mori then asked, smirking mischievously and tugging at his haori to get him closer. The kiss which followed was deep and urgent, as if waiting even a millisecond more would mean not being able to do it at all. And right after, or rather since it started, other things got unleashed. Instead of keeping on pulling towards himself, next Mori’s gesture was yanking not only the haori but every layer of clothes underneath it-- a motion that swiftly started getting Fukuzawa’s chest exposed. The mild chill his skin registered at getting uncovered, though, was instantly replaced by the burn of his partner’s touch… and they were just starting. Such a thought prompted him to make a move, not just due to the need for hurrying because of external reasons but also due to his own ever increasing wanting; before taking care of anything else, his hands lowered until reaching Mori’s waistband, then continued to unbutton his pants. “Not bad.” Fukuzawa heard against his ear, teasing as usual and more in contexts like the current one. “Keep up, please.” Of course, he didn’t have to be told twice.

Even with bandages still on, naked Dazai still felt-- strange. Not in a bad sense per se, because damn if Kunikida didn’t like what he was seeing, but… like having been granted visions of wonders he was only allowed to marvel at from a distance. As if getting closer would break the magic of the moment, even. And speaking of Dazai… “It’s okay,” He told him, with a smirk which was equally teasing and soft. “you can touch me.” Between his partner being diabolically smart and Kunikida himself being an open book to most but especially him, the fact it almost seemed like his thoughts had been read word for word didn’t come as a surprise. Not just that, but it also encouraged him to not limit himself to staring. “Alright.” He whispered, taking the necessary steps forward to bring himself towards Dazai’s side. The first place Kunikida’s hands went, trembling a little but overall behaving pretty good, were to his partner’s face, cupping it before initiating quite the passionate kiss. Of course, Dazai took no time in following his lead, kissing him back with the same hunger and enthusiasm. They were actually engaging in what counted as a second kiss when one of Kunikida’s hands abandoned its previous position, sliding down brushing Dazai’s torso and not stopping until reaching his thigh, grabbing onto it both just for the sake of it and with the following objective of wrapping that leg (his partner’s bad leg, also) around his waist; a gesture he knew was equally enticing and convenient in terms of support. “Not like I’m complaining, by the way. But… we could just get into bed.” Was the next thing Dazai said, smirking even more. Then, as if there was any need for more convincing, which wasn’t the case, he went for yet another kiss-- that one pressed against Kunikida’s throat.

When Aya had gone back from school asking for someone to take her to the zoo so she could do her latest homework assignment, she had never expected at all the possibility of ending up with a companion such as her current one. That being said, though, Tetchô was actually a pretty nice choice for the task: he filled the responsible adult role well enough, and seemed eager to be there, judging by his never wavering interest in stopping to read every tidbit of information which came across during their path. “Which animal are you picking, by the way?” He asked her on a short drink break, evidently curious despite his expression not changing in the slightest. “I think bats, ‘cause they remind me of Bracchan.” “Nice.” Tetchô replied, nodding almost solemnly, then approached the nearest map, thoroughly checking it before speaking again. “It’s not too far from here, so we can even stop anytime we want to see any other animal in the way.” “Cool!!” Even if she had her choice, well, chosen, Aya hadn’t gone all the way to the zoo to not properly enjoy the visit, after all. “Can I ask somethin’, by the way?” She said a few minutes later, already on the way to see the bats. Funnily enough, introducing the topic was already asking a question, but still. “Evidently, yes.” Tetchô simply said. “Why comin’ with me?” Before that, none of them had spoken much, even if he was nicer than his boyfriend-not-boyfriend (though Aya figured she shouldn’t complain about Jôno that much, when he was actually pretty legit and he had basically been the reason she met Bram in the first place). “You needed someone to come with you.” He answered, shrugging. “And I like animals.” Those words made Aya chuckle; of course he would say that. “Well, I’m glad, and not just ‘cause I’ve got plenty of time to get this thing done and forget ‘bout it till I can turn it in.” Despite somewhat expecting it, his next response made her chuckle again. “Me too.”

Were he more versed in those kinds of things, Fukuzawa would have registered the current situation as something straight up from a movie. Posing as a couple to gather more intel? Check. Dressing the part? Check. Pretending to be looking for someplace less crowded to get intimate? Also check. Were he more versed in those kinds of things, Fukuzawa would have acted accordingly-- or tried to, at least. Right then, though, he was profoundly clueless when Mori urged him to sit on the nearest couch, climbed onto his lap and kissed him with both intensity and intention in a way more reserved for proper, actual time alone. A kind of kiss that wasn’t uncommon to lead to way more than that. “What…?” He barely had time to mutter, since his partner initiated a second kiss in the exact same demeanor. As a response after it, Fukuzawa got a finger over his mouth, prompting him to silence. “You could have told me.” He said some time later on the way back, after a job well done and still somewhat dizzy from what had turned into an almost legit makeout session as an… improvised? distraction tactic. “Well, I count on you to trust the process, and that has never failed me so far.” Mori answered, smirking. “Besides, this was a backup strategy, and even if it wasn’t… hm, we both know you have severe lackings in the acting department, so there were very few other ways to make it look natural.” His smirk widened into a full-fledged mischievous smile. “Why, though? Did I disappoint you?” Yes. No. Perhaps. No word actually escaped his lips or was released, and yet Mori offered him a small laugh in return; a testament of how well he could read him. “We could always continue once we arrive, you know.” He told Fukuzawa as well, to which he couldn’t help but let out a brief ‘oh’ that earned him yet another sound of amusement. “Yes.” Fukuzawa replied, hoping not to sound close to shy. After all, it wouldn’t be their first time.

“... and, this is pretty much everything.” Mori concluded his debriefing with, offering him a folder and one of his trademark smiles. “Alright.” Was what Fukuzawa said in return, nodding to confirm no detail had escaped him while retrieving said folder. The way their hands brushed for a second during the exchange wasn’t lost on him, and had no less effect on him despite the mafia boss still wearing his usual gloves. “Anything else I should know?” The answer was likely a no, but better to check than leave unnecessary doubts. “Only one.” Another smile, this one softer, accompanied those words. “Be careful, Fukuzawa-dono.” He always was, actually, and hadn’t gotten even a smidge more reckless with the years but quite the opposite; thus, it was easy to identify Mori’s words as a personal plea rather than something closer to an order. And such a fact instantly poked at his heart with insistence. “Needless to say, I will.” Fukuzawa replied, nodding once again and sealing his response as a promise by using his still free hand to grab onto Mori’s, lift it up and leave a kiss on the back. That, too, was motivated by personal matters, instead of pulled by the strings of professionalism… and, of course, both were aware of that as well. “Hm, I could get used to this.” Mori then commented, with the same expression of a cat satisfied with a treat and a bit of that same previous softness on the side. And, obviously, there was no other way Fukuzawa could have answered with than: “We can arrange that.”

Come to think about it, ‘I’ve never played spin the bottle’ hadn’t been a wise thing to say in front of his fellow Agency members plus some guests (like Lucy and Poe) in various states of inebriation, because their heightened eagerness had led to precisely trying the game. Which might not be a problem with someone with more kissing experience than Atsushi himself was. Especially since the bottle had landed on Lucy. Who was sitting beside him. “I--” He attempted to say, clearing his throat as everyone else’s cheers started to come. In fact, the only two people in somewhat silence were precisely the girl and him. “You don’t have to… if you don’t… want.” Shit. If only he had alcohol to blame for his somewhat slurred words and flushing cheeks… at least Lucy was getting as red as him, which may make things easier. Or not. “Well--” She replied, wrinkling her nose a little. “Thanks. Same for you.” “Thanks.” He repeated, maybe a tad too quickly since her expression almost turned into a scowl for a second. “But if-- if you don’t mind or…” An ‘or even wanna do it’ was left unsaid, but just because Atsushi somehow gathered the courage to lean in a bit, enough to not invade her space but also to wordlessly signal how he wasn’t exactly against it. Hell, he wanted to kiss her. It was simply that this wasn’t exactly the way Atsushi would have ever considered in terms of making a move. The kiss what followed when Lucy made her choice and went along with it as well was by no means perfect, not the kind books waxed poetics about; it was barely a touch of their lips carried out by two novices in terms of kissing, not to mention how having so many people around blurred the magic of the moment quite a bit. What it had, though, was the same sparks Atsushi had expected when daydreaming of such a scenario-- even if most of the details didn’t match.

“Hm.” It wasn’t until said sound came out of Akutagawa’s throat when Atsushi realized what he had done-- as if finding his own lips against the spot where the scar on his partner’s neck started wasn’t enough. “Couldn’t resist.” Was all he could say in his… defense? Not defense, since the tiger hadn’t done anything wrong, and was aware of it. Plus, what he was going to get would be the opposite of a scolding. “Good.” Akutagawa immediately replied, and despite being in an unfit position to see his expression (no, Atsushi hadn’t moved in the slightest, only separating enough to speak), he could basically sense the smirk on his face anyway. How not to, though, when to the trained person, a hint in Akutagawa’s voice gave it away. “Then, don’t mind if I…” Of course, that was just talk to talk, and thus Atsushi resorted to action instead. Wrapping his arms around his boyfriend’s body, he continued where he had left off, peppering kisses through the scar in its entirety and running his lips through Akutagawa’s neck in the process; there was tenderness, born from a never-ending need to express what the gesture that lead to such a scar had meant to him, but there was hunger too. A hunger which wasn’t placated in the slightest by how Akutagawa was responding to it, with delighted sighs slowly morphing into something else, and instead only grew more evident. “Jinko.” Came between those. “Stop so we can continue in bed.”

“You were right, Ranpo-kun.” Fukuzawa said even before (or rather, without) a greeting some weeks later upon arriving back home, that time way later than the previous one. In fact, were he so engrossed in what he had to say, there would have been some scolding at Ranpo for forfeiting a proper hour for bedtime. But, again, his focus had been completely taken away by the news he was about to break to the boy. And, again, he couldn’t exactly blame him for struggling to sleep when home alone. “Tsk, of course I was right!!!” Ranpo lost no time in saying, to the point it wasn’t until that was out of the way when he actually asked. “With that this time, though?”

The tour around the apartment was a short-lived one, mainly because it wasn’t super big even if it could fit two people comfortably, and also due to Atsushi not having many things yet. So, the bathroom and its utilities were the last thing on the list. “That’s pretty much everything.” He said, opening and closing the cabinets as he showed Kyôka their contents. “These are the soap and shampoo I use, but if you wanna get something else, we can arrange it.” To be fair, he had been telling her the same about almost every item, so it wasn’t surprising when the girl simply reacted with a nod. Besides, that gave him more time to think and choose his words for the last thing he wanted to point out. “And same with-- well, the pads. I’ve got pretty cheap ones, but they do their work fairly well. Still, if you’d prefer something else, we also can…” Mentioning periods in a broader sense, that was no issue for Atsushi. But right then and there, when doing so meant straight up coming out to Kyôka? That made him a tad nervous, even if ever since crossing paths with Dazai all he had received was support and the most natural treatment. Said nervousness, though, only lasted until Kyôka nodded in the exact same way she had done all the previous times. And what came after. “Don’t worry, I won’t be needing those.” “Oh.” Was the first thing Atsushi managed to reply. Then, just in case, clarification followed. “You mean, ‘cause you haven’t had yours yet or…?” She let out a brief chuckle at his words, which honestly was very sweet. “I assume you want to ask if I’m a girl in the same way you’re a boy.” Kyôka sort of continued for him. “You assume correctly.” He said, now nodding himself. “I see. Yes.” At that point, it wasn’t Atsushi’s first time meeting someone he had that in common with; such a thing had gotten covered when meeting the rest of the Agency. But, of course, that didn’t take a smidge of warmth in the smile that quickly appeared on his face. After all, it was always nice.

“I need your help, Gin-kun.” Naomi announced upon approaching her, interlocking their arms together and giggling as if they had just shared an inside joke. Gin, of course, tilted her head in a way that more than evidently signaled confusion, but also did nothing to stop the girl from proceeding. After all, the physical closeness wasn’t uncomfortable, but quite the opposite. “With what?” She replied, very much not ready for what was coming next. “Give me a kiss.” “... What?” Blinking in an even deeper confusion, Gin stared up and down at Naomi, as if that could tell her if the other was just joking or actually needed it for something-- neither were far-fetched options, given Naomi’s penchant for both pulling pranks in that fashion and downright scheming. “See, I needed a fake partner for a small thingie tonight-- don’t worry, I’ll tell you all the details when I can, and you’re the best candidate.” So, scheming it was. “Me?” Gin immediately said. It was flattering, that for sure. Still… “C’mon. Please?” To Naomi’s credit, and Gin’s own detriment, she didn’t even have to fully call in the big guns and pout when she gave in to help her; pulling down her mask and hoping not to blush too much, Gin leaned in and pressed a brief kiss to Naomi’s cheeks. Something that, by the way, was received by quite the amount of delight. “Thanks!!!” Naomi pretty much beamed. “Now, onto the details.”

Despite that being just a sparring exercise and not one of their initial quarrels, such a fact didn’t take away a smidge of pride when Gin managed to push Tachihara against a wall, with a knife to his throat and barely any space between their bodies; quite the opposite, since not even him going all out had changed the outcome. “I win.” Gin whispered, smiling behind their mask. “Yeah.” Tachihara conceded, smiling back. “Though, gotta say, I’m not exactly feelin’ like a loser here.” That earned him a little laugh. “Hm?” Was what came next, as if they weren’t sure why he would say that when it couldn’t be more obvious. So much there wasn’t even an attempt to feign surprise when their partner elaborated on it. “Well, bein’ cornered by someone so hot actually feels like winnin’, y’know?” Of course they did, since that would have been Gin’s situation were the roles currently reversed. Besides, they didn’t have a single doubt about how Tachihara would have done the same Gin was about to do. Sheathing their knife only to have both hands free (after all, the knife in itself could spice things up), they removed their mask, grabbed onto his jacket and kissed him in an urgent demeanor. And just as swiftly, Tachihara kissed them back, also discarding his gun in favor of wrapping his arms around them: firstly so their bodies were even closer against the other’s and then to lift them up the ground. Then, for extra comfort, he turned around so Gin’s back was now the one resting against the wall, at the same time they circled his waist with their legs. “Yeah.” Was all they said, once again whispering, before going for another kiss. “I know what you mean.”

Higuchi adopting a somewhat teasing demeanor wasn’t something that happened very often, and thus Gin was both relishing the moment… and fighting against getting too flustered. So far, by the way, only the first part was successful. For obvious reasons. “Well…” Higuchi was saying, slightly blushing too but in definitely a better condition than Gin’s own. “I’m just saying it was cute, seeing you like that.” Maybe, were she talking about anything else, he wouldn’t have reacted so strongly-- but the current topic was the way Gin had reacted when Dazai hit him with the ‘You were this tall when I last saw you, Gin-chan’ and that made things difficult. In fact, he might be close to reaching the same levels of red in his face, with an expression to match as well. “Don’t say that.” He replied, also similarly to right then, placing a hand over Higuchi’s mouth and glancing away. Though that didn’t last too long, since Higuchi responded by kissing the palm of said hand. Which, yes, only made things even worse in terms of Gin’s flustered state.

“And… all done now.” Tachihara told them, as both him and Tanizaki finished adjusting the bandages over Gin’s arm and leg in place.  To be fair, none of the injuries was actually a cause for worries, and they could have done it on their own. But the two of them had insisted, and there was only so much Gin could withstand before conceding to being the closest to pampered one could be in a situation like that-- after all, that term wasn’t exactly the best to describe the aftermath of a mission. “Thanks.” Gin whispered, for there wasn’t any need to speak louder anyway. “Anytime.” Was Tanizaki’s answer, placing a brief kiss on their wrist. Then, Tachihara followed suit, doing the same on their other one in a way that felt more like subscribing to a good idea than a competition (though the latter would have been fun to see too). Gin responded by returning both kisses, on their cheeks instead. Plus, they weren’t done yet. “By the way, since I’m technically the loser, dinner’s on me tonight.” To that, Tachihara let out a brief laugh, and Tanizaki gasped softly as he had just remembered the small bet they had started on their way to the mission right then… and who could blame him, though, since that had been quite the rocky one, even if with a successful ending. “Alright, but let’s not get somewhere too expensive, I’d feel kinda bad.” He said, only making Tachihara laugh harder. “You gotta get used to it sooner or later.” And that was only half teasing. “But yeah, I’m not in the mood for somethin’ fancy either.” Instead of replying with words, Gin motioned to fetch their phone, already starting to search through options. Or, in other words: the search and choice had just begun, though it wouldn’t be too long-lived.

“Oh? That’s amazing!” The woman who had approached him was saying, offering Tetchô a small but sweet smile, when the conversation got interrupted. “Well, we--” No matter how clear the rest of his response was, it got completely forgotten thanks to said interruption, which consisted in Jôno returning to his side by making quite the entrance: he latched onto Tetchô as if both their lives depended on it, and kissed him in a way more fitting for being alone together than in a formal event and having someone else standing so close. Though the last part was somewhat ‘solved’ in the sense of how after the kiss ended… and Tetchô was in no position to scold his partner, given the fact he had quickly given in and reciprocated with the same intensity. “What’s that for?” He did manage to ask then. “Not like I’m complaining, but…” But Jôno wouldn’t have done that without a reason right then. “Aw, got shy all of a sudden?” Jôno countered, only heightening his suspicions and at the same time giving him nothing much to work with. Though, that could count as proof, even if maybe not enough: him hiding his true thoughts or feelings wasn’t new at all. In fact, the two of them would have gotten together way sooner otherwise. “If that’s the case, I know a spot where we won’t get bothered.” Tetchô would be lying if he said that wasn’t tempting. Plus, he wasn’t one for telling lies at all; it wasn’t completely impossible for him, but it was hardly ever something he resorted to, in the sense his mind tended to not even consider the possibility at all. “Lead the way.” He replied, only continuing when Jôno swiftly obliged, proceeding to half-guide and half-drag him. “By the way…” “Yes?” “If you wanted me all for yourself, you could’ve said so sooner.” He then shrugged, almost casually. “You already do anytime, but you get me.” What Tetchô got as a response was a scoff, as if he had just said the most preposterous thing. Knowing Jôno as much as he did, though, it wasn’t difficult to understand it was something else entirely.
