Morning coffee thought: after the release of pitch correction software, music audiences started to get trained on the sound, and now like it, sing like it, and essentially expect it. What if we are building a generation of people who prefer AI slop, and so content keeps heading in that direction?

It is essential that if you are able, you take time off in October. Even a day. You don’t have to go anywhere. But otherwise it’s a long stretch between Labor Day and Thanksgiving.

one of my favorite things on Reddit is people doing no research, buying a camera, taking film photos and complaining that they don’t look good. the replies are almost always ‘yea, you need to learn how to use a film camera’
