Some time ago I launched my live Dutch imbalance dashboard. Lets expand! The original dashboard was quite a hit, it even took down my server briefly! It was also very cool to make and see a real live indicator of the grid.
So I am expanding this idea to other countries! 1/

On average, the regional price spread drops by 2.38 EUR/MWh. This corresponds to a drop of 3.24% relative to the average price spread in the historical data set.
While not evenly distributed, every hour of the day sees a decrease in price spread on average. 4/

The overall picture is that northern zones export more and southern zones import more, resulting in higher prices in the north and lower prices in the south.
This correlation, between prices and net position shifts, makes sense in Flowbased
