Yes! Been having some health issues lately, but in Summer I should be out and about again, so that’s something to look forward to.

Let me know! We’ll do a meet-up! (And I will have to check where the best pita is, because even these are getting gentrified.)

It’s what you get when you order a durum (or pita, depends on the place): meat or falafel of choice, salad, sauce of choice and frites rolled up in a Lebanese flat bread. It is fusion cooking to the max here.

If you’re living in Brussels you’d roll them in flat bread with random frites added.

They live in big troops in our nearby park. Mornings and evenings are LOUD.

After receiving the worst news that the little lump in my breast is indeed cancer, I did get the somewhat good news chemotherapy isn’t needed to beat this thing. It’ll be a journey through hell (or the Upside Down if you will), but the outpouring of support from everyone has been heart warming.

Random hugs from pupils means you’ve done a good job in primary school. Got two today because I had to leave early for a doctor’s appointment.

Hasn’t been such a good week, but my pupils like hugs and one of randomly gets up in class, hugs me and then goes on with her work. And choir practice with the school choir today was lots of fun.

It’s more than 50%.

I sometimes dress as the most terrifying thing for school children: the teacher. My pupils’ usual respons is that I’m not very convincing.

And every once in a while receiving a loved book to take home to keep.

The library I go to with my pupils has a book robot that eats the books and sorts them. It’s brand new and you can watch it do its thing through a glass roof. They’d love to visit the catacombs of the book sorting machine and being able to get their hands on books before they’re back in the stacks.
