Vote Kate #1 Holyrood 2026 Edinburgh & Lothians East I have signed Scottish Greens Palestine Solidairty Group five pledges for Holyrood candidates 1. Follow and promote all policies outlined in the "Palestine and Israel" section of the party's Policy Reference Document (12.4.4-12.4.7). Support Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) in all relevant areas. Promote and abide by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI). 2. Refer to Israel's campaign of settler colonialism in Palestine as an ethnic cleansing. Refer to the ongoing Israeli campaign in Gaza as a genocide, in agreement to international human rights organisations such as Amnesty International. Speak out in support of South Africa’s ICJ case against Israel. I have signed Scottish Greens Palestine Solidairty Group five pledges for Holyrood candidates 3. Advocate for and work towards ending public funding of arms companies, and set that as a red line for supporting Scottish Government budgets, and for any coalition, cooperation, or confidence and supply agreements with political parties in government. 4. Push for compliance with ICC arrest warrants, and for the prosecution of IDF soldiers as war criminals, under the International Criminal Court (Scotland) Act 2001. Refuse to participate in any official business with Israeli government officials. 5. Oppose police targeting of pro-Palestine protesters. Actively collaborate with groups and organisations in Scotland campaigning for a free Palestine.
