I feel like Rian Johnson probably could have done a great Star Wars side story but he probably wasn’t the guy for a main series movie and he definitely wasn’t the guy for the 2nd movie in someone else’s trilogy

The biggest issue with the sequels is Last Jedi
Not so much that it’s bad per se, but rather that it’s so tonally different from the other two that it feels like it’s pulled from a parallel universe
