Advocates for Medically Fragile Kids NC (AFMFKNC) is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to advocate for the rights and needs of North Carolina's medically complex children and their families. https://fragilekidsnc.org/
This is a huge help to NC's medically fragile kids and their families!
This is because of NC’s Medical Debt Relief Incentive Program. Our Gov. Cooper has been working on getting hospital systems in NC to forgive medical debt. All eligible hospitals have now signed on. In return for forgiving debt, the hospitals are eligible for higher Medicaid reimbursements.

When looking at Medicaid cuts, are folks aware that 12 states would automatically or quickly throw folks in the expansion population out of the program if the enhanced match goes away? And not just little states either: AR, AZ, IA, ID, IL, IN, MT, NH, NC, UT, and VA.
