What gets me here, is that they want him there to answer questions, but sweep under the carpet all of the US citizens, some of whom are rather prominent who should also be answering questions or be in jail.

I fear that this would just be monitoring by stealth. I am not a conspiracy theorist by any means, but at this point I wouldn’t put anything past this government.

I drive a petrol car so it won’t affect me (yet) but even if I had an EV, I normally do at least 3-4000 miles through Europe in a given year. I just don’t see how this could be administered without every single EV having a black box that reports back every mile driven (and where and what speed).

How are they going to verify how many miles have actually been driven? What about those who decide to drive to Europe. Will they have to prove that those miles were not completed here? Sledgehammer to crack a nut springs to mind. I don’t know what the answer is, but it isn’t this.

It’s fabulous. The medical teams at the circuit undoubtedly saved both of their lives that day. News like this always makes a day feel better.

It’s tough coming from elsewhere to here. It took me a long time getting used to it. I don’t miss the other place at all anymore. I get all my F1 and MotoGP stuff here. My weird car stuff too. I like the quiet life though. 😀.

Being the miserable git that I am, I believe that no fireworks should be sold. Polluting, animal scaring, pointless waste of money.

It all depends on what you are looking for? Algorithms don’t apply here. In my world here, I follow few people and post even less. Those who I do follow likely think I am some kind of stalker due to my likes on their posts. I like this type of SM. No posts shoved down my throat. I do follow you.
