2025 can get in the fucking sea. Mum died in March, partner diagnosed with breast cancer in June, and yesterday my cat literally dropped dead in front of me. This was Brillo on one of his more sensible looking days.

Only just heard of this car. The Mitsuoka Orochi. It’s the happiest looking car I have ever seen. I think it might even wag its rear wings when its owner walks up to it. #weirdcarbs

Today I finally decided that this is the best car I have ever owned. It’s fast when I want it to be. It’s economical when I decide to drive that way. It’s a relatively rare beast with only around 800 in the UK. I love everything about it. It has a soul that I can’t quite explain.

The roundabout one was horrific. A605 at thrapston, down a hill and fell asleep. Bricks everywhere. Driver was fine. Same night I watched a BMW driver stack it into a ditch in the pouring rain, and then beg me not to call the police.

Now I know it’s not the 24 heures du mans race win, but it’s my first ever pole and race win in a “big race” on GT7. World Series 2025 nations cup. Properly chuffed tonight.

Not excusing them at all. I did a similar thing a couple of weeks ago to get photos of my new motor at sunset. Parked across a couple of spaces for a better angle. Would have moved the car in an instant had anyone asked, or if the car park had become busy. Parked properly straight after.

Not quite a GTR but this is Rowan Atkinson’s F1 that he crashed on a road on regular commute that I make. Turns out he crashed it twice and still sold it for a huge profit. Picture is not my own.

I have never taken photos of my cars like this before. However, I could not pass up this opportunity tonight. PS, I am not a great photographer.

Morgan factory tour was amazing. Got to see some of the new “Midsummer” model being made. Only 50 being produced apparently, and all sold. If you can get there, it’s well worth a visit. Guide was exceptional.

Today was the first time cleaning Nev since his ceramic coating. What used to take me 4 hours now takes me 2. An enormous difference and worth every penny, in time won back alone.

My drive up the Großglockner last year in my old Golf GTI. The most perfect weather. Insanely quiet mountain pass. Beauty 360 degrees around us. My amazing partner and son in the car. Drum and bass on the stereo. A memory for a lifetime.

It was worth every penny. There is also a funicular railway which takes you down towards the glacier (which is a lot further away that you think).

I used to think I did a good job cleaning my car. Not anymore. Just had the TCR returned after 3 days of the full works with the amazing @perfectionvalet.bsky.social I have never been in a car so shiny. You are outstanding at your craft. Thank you for such a brilliant job.
