Been working on a tether system, similar to the one in Astroneer. It's still a very early progress but it feels great seeing it in action!

Whole system is made in C++ with the connections made with a Spline Mesh Component.

✨Created a light themed attack VFX in Unreal~

I used Blender and Substance Designer, but mostly everything was in Unreal w Niagara. I additionally wanted to emit some particles out of the character, but I also really wanted to share this! Any thoughts? :)

Try this - it generates a reachable point in a 1000 cm radius, but uses the normalized direction vector to push it 1000 centimeters away from the origin, thus making the radius between between the 10-20 meters.

I downloaded an asset pack with 100s of textures not ready for importing in Unity. So I made a tool that fixes them automatically!
📁 Just give it a folder and it automatically imports the textures, packs and inverts them and creates the material.
