So, the problem with this approach, the idea of "only scream at Dems, because they'll listen" without putting more pressure on the GOP, means the only thing people ever see is the rage at Dems, and the takeaway becomes "Dems must be the only real problem because everyone hates them"
Yep. "Boys will be boys" apathy and only attacking a side you see as "receptive" does nothing but send the message at the side being attacked is the only problem. You don't protest to convince the protest targets directly. You protest to direct public anger at the targets, and let that persuade
