Yes, the deportees were in shackles. The crime they committed was having no documentation. That is not violent criminals.

Trump has released violent criminals who attacked Police Officers resulting in deaths. He will spend the next 4 years in close proximity with some of the same (armed) Police Officers some or many of whom may feel a deep resentment. All it takes is for one to unclip their weapon as he walks past 🤔
