We’d watch my mom’s sailing lessons on Saturdays there! They had a shop where everything was from China and I loved it! There was an amazing Belgian waffle restaurant. This is my childhood.

I had no idea what this place was like during its glory days! We had just stumbled upon this area before taking a cruise in 2021. I found it oddly charming - not knowing it's background. Thank you for your write-up and history of it... and it's tie to Disney.🙏

At a certain point I have to admit that devoting my life to making a line go up isn't where I want to be, and I don't know what's next. I'm probably going to experiment with some new things eventually.

In short I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself moving forward. I've been an online content creator in *some form* since I was 13 and guys I'm tired. I'm tired and I feel old.

When blogging dried up in favor of YouTube, I pivoted a writing books. I've now written the three books where I really feel I had something to contribute and I've been feeling very aimless since.

Basically I was able to step into an underserved market. Blogs were just exploding, social media was swelling internet use, and I was in my 20s and full of energy. I've changed and the world has changed a lot.
