ive had it bookmarked for years now, it's just such a nice and varied collection without dealing with quixel/fab licensing questions

stupidest shit i ever did is getting into modeling so I can see another range of people I despise (besides gamers) actively work to destroy the thing they love so much

like it's a cool tool! im glad to have them and find genuine use for them in my workflow, but it's not replacing me. it's not outsmarting me. it's a coding assistant. it's visual assist++++

again thinking about the director of engineering at my previous job convincing our studio head that these agents could do 70% of our work for us. lmfao. as if.

like I still have to do most of the learning, reading, and example code writing myself. i still have to specify tasks very clearly using precise language. it really only saves me some of the time consuming parts of actually writing out tons of code. it's literally just a useful tool. that's it

no idea but it is genuinely a comment someone made on amazon about a countertop water filter lmfao

i am extremely annoyed lol. like, my ideal situation would be a whole-home system that removes the excessive mineralization but leaves enough to be good/improve taste, and also manages to somehow re-add fluoride lmfao. i want a municipal system like this!

everything about our water is fantastic except for the fact that it's really quite hard, and it's leaving deposits in things like our water boiler and other similar appliances/tools. activated carbon does nothing for hard water, so i have to step all the way up to RO

also another crimp in all of this is that i really want to avoid having to manually create these compartments and such for various vessels. i need to be able to auto generate them using a discretized (but tweakable) ruleset

the network graph thing is cool for things like propagating flooding or fire, or even communication. that could create some cool gameplay and is very easy to handle programmatically, but it's not exactly impossible with voxels either

trying to settle on a damage model for this project and it's like, mathematically/curve defined armor belts, then a network graph of compartments. but also many of the compartments take up volume and could be voxelization bait. especially because some are effectively empty
