Ok, I think I'm done with stocking caps. For now. Maybe. Probably. (Do need to find the matching arm warmers/mitts that I made about 6-7 years ago...)
Crocheted stocking cap in graduated shades of blue and aqua yarn, using shell stitches for the long tail and with crocodile stitches around the head to resemble scales. Pointed, slightly flared piece in dark blue on the tip instead of a pompom and a matching flat band at the open end.

Days might be getting longer and brighter but it's still winter—and a typically cold, cloudy, damp and windy one in the mid-Atlantic. So while it looks like the sub-freezing weather is gone (for now), I am still fighting back against the bleakness... #killwinterwithorange (yearly Feb prompt on IG)
