I shaved her extremely short in spring, right before her birthday in March. I’m blown away that her coat came back so well at her age and with her health conditions! And she’s looking so good lately, I even had to run to keep up with her going out to potty at work today 😂

The funny part is we were snuggling just moments before his vicious attack 😂 male pigeons are so weird, idk how they get mates in the wild when they do this nonsense.

Thankfully she seems to be over the chickens as prey, but still responds pretty intensely to the pigeons. She’s definitely smart as heck and can learn stuff super quick, but she’s proving to be a challenge for sure.

I’m not sure if she will even like it! I just know this crazy beast needs something to distract her before she hurts herself. She’s the perfect example of why a domestic dog is the worst danger to backyard chickens. They don’t give up, even when they get hurt, they just keep going. It’s kinda scary!

I’m looking into weight pulling, to maybe help release some of the energy she has. She has such high focus on RAT that she doesn’t even respond to the vibrating collar on highest setting. Maybe if I can wear her out physically and mentally with weight pulling, she will be able to manager her energy.
