If anyone has tricks to light ikea kallax shelves … it’s not super important, my invert pets don’t care (and probably prefer to be out of the light) but sometimes it’s nice to see my bugs !!! And the dark little boxes make that hard lol

It’s a lazy weekend for us - working 10 hour days has been awful for me and I just need a totally lazy 48 hours to recharge 🙏

Jacoby got a nice new cage update, after putting it off for way too long. A more appropriate substrate, much MUCH deeper in the cave, and the anatopism of jungle decor and desert decor. More clutter to come soon, but he’s a pretty confident guy so for now it’s aesthetically pleasing 😂

I shaved her extremely short in spring, right before her birthday in March. I’m blown away that her coat came back so well at her age and with her health conditions! And she’s looking so good lately, I even had to run to keep up with her going out to potty at work today 😂

I cleaned up the old lady (she’s 16!) and oh my gosh I love this look for her so much, it is too precious and watching her run around is ADORABLE!!! I don’t support shaving a healthy young Pomeranian but at her age, she’s earned easy coat care!

The funny part is we were snuggling just moments before his vicious attack 😂 male pigeons are so weird, idk how they get mates in the wild when they do this nonsense.

Hotdog was inside for a few days very sick and I was very worried I would lose her. After just three days of medicine she’s feeling so much better and back out with the rest of the birds 🙏 Lexi also got to interact with her in a calm setting, and did amazing!

They did great for their first night, and they got lots of love today. The little roo is such a cuddler, he’s gonna be so awesome. I hope Seymour accepts him into the flock cos I don’t want to build another pen!

Poor little babies, going out with the big birds for the first time. Hopefully in 1-3 weeks they’ll be able to leave the kennel and be with the rest of the birds. For now, they get all the sights and sounds of coop life in a small warm kennel.

I’ve taken up Skyrim again, which is unfortunate cos I can play on the couch with the steam deck while Rotisserie sleeps in my lap, which means I was in this position for about a full solid work day 😂
