I've been listening #OldGodsofAppalachia since shortly after it debuted (highly recommend if you like supernatural horror stories, by the way), so something like 5 years now, and I JUST learned that the big evil deer's name is "Horn'd/Horned Head", not "Hornet Head". Which makes way more sense.

So Poilievre says he'll get rid of the industrial carbon tax. I guess glad he's finally discovered it's real, a year after condescendingly telling @laurelcollins.bsky.social it doesn't exist and she should do her research first. I guess that counts as growth?

This is absolutely it. The tariff drama sucks, no doubt about that, but it's a headache we've dealt with before, even if not to this extent. But the repeated annexation threats and frequent disrespect to our (now former) Prime Minister, along with the outright lies, is what's really pissing us off.
Call it anecdotal, but my Canadian friends who are cancelling their US travel are not doing it because of tariff worries at all; they’re doing it because the US government is currently actively threatening Canada’s sovereignty and economy and they’re all justifiably furious

Well, now that every big tech business seems to be capitulating to Trump, including Google and Apple, any chance Mozilla wants to give that whole Firefox OS thing a go again, so we don't need to use iOS or Android? Yeesh.

It's turning into winter, and my boys Chopin (husky) and Gobi (golden) are thrilled. So much so, Chopin's been waking me up on the middle of the night just to go sit outside, the little shit. He's lucky he's cute. I don't know why my golden STILL wants to swim, though. #dogs #husky #goldenretriever
