Two thoughts occurred following tonight's #onlyconnect Christmas Special (spoiler alerts apply!). The first, following a Wall link, was that there are now enough Chasers to make up two OC teams, perhaps led by a series winner each. How about it for a charity special @vcorenmitchell.bsky.social ?

Not sure I can find a motorsport theme to #onlyconnect this week, just reeling from this series' obligatory evil question (the picture question in the sequences round, no spoilers here).
I won't necessarily be doing these posts through the Christmas specials by the way, but won't rule it out

There were a couple more obvious motorsport connections in tonight's #onlyconnect (the second of which was named after the person he's been merged with, fact fans), but I thought I'd go all in with Hell in Norway. It's got rallycross, so it can't be all bad

Whoever wins tomorrow, I'd be very surprised if many end of year reviews put anyone other than Max Verstappen as their number 1 driver. With the possible exception of my own; I won't do the calculations until after the final race, but bear in mind I ended up with Charles Leclerc at #1 last year...

Just when I thought this week's #onlyconnect motoring connection for this account was going to have to get even more tenuous, they do a connection on motorcycle manufacturers. One of which used to make cars, which takes me back to the recent Hollyoaks feature. It all fits together in the end
