Mr. Schumer, why do this after the bill passes? There should have been a modern, very online messaging strategy on every platform well before today.

Ignorance of the details is the goal on the right, because they want to jam this through even though Many GOP senators and house members hate it, and they don’t want to a rouse the public.
As such, it was the Dem’s job to raise that awareness.

They just don’t understand how to effectively counter the 24/7 onslaught of far right PR and messaging.

They need to figure out how to be blasting out their vision on every modern online platform on a daily basis.
Delaying this vote does absolutely nothing to stop it being passed. The house will pass this today regardless.

Then we are scolded and lectured on what is and is not antisemitism, because of a refusal to hear what we are actually saying.

The problem with the endless arguments about this topic is that there are more sentiments being expressed than just “compassion for the people of Gaza”.
Jews worried about antisemitism are talking about one thing, and this “compassion” viewpoint is a different thing.
