I adore making games alongside magnificent people!
Give Sunderfolk a try.
Such a wholesome experience and a great entry point to board game like mechanics in digital form akin to Gloomhaven and Frosthaven. Every single friend group we've shown it to has loved it :)

Every time I have to use a right-click menu I feel like I'm less efficient

I especially love that it's ambiguous about whether x y or z is up. Diabolical!

Haha great suggestion! It probably wouldn't work? I think we need to add "ease of tasting" to the parameters. Both tap beer and ice cream are extremely fast to serve to taste and is usually served over the counter

Probably a mix of the product being fully prepared and ready to be served (ice-cream or tap beer) from a source amount that's not measured in per units and having a set minimum amount required for when you order (compared to your candy example). I wonder how many other products fit that category.

I don't remember the movie too well, but I'm guessing it's probably pretty close!

The unending quest to enforce a consistent code name framework that everyone agrees on and likes continues... :D

I also finished it today and absolutely loved it. I ended up with a fairly "happy" ending - ateast for an 11 bit game. Great article :)

It is indeed brilliant! I sadly had to restart since my save on ps5 got corrupted somehow

It's good to have an area of focus as a generalist as a base to work from. However in bigger organizations the worth of a generalist can tend to be forgotten because we are harder to fit into boxes in a production schedule that doesn't empower the flexibility you get from generalists

Try them out sliced in half, add your preferred seasoning (no bacon allowed!) and oven roasted in a bit of olive oil. Delicious!

Okay this makes way more sense than whatever magical tech I was thinking of that would even be able to retract a mail after it had gone out. Thanks! Cool feature though, never heard of it (maybe a ux topic there? ;) )

I'd suggest checking out the Malazan: Book of the Fallen books and their organizational structure of gods. Really interesting take on several generations of gods and their power structure. Makes space for a lot of different tiered gods. Shadowthrone and Cotillion are trying to become higher tier.

Have had to do it for 10 years now since cables apparently are the most delicious thing in a roaming Chinchilla's mind :D
