In the darkest places, look for those pinpoints of light. I’m happy to be here and no longer in the cesspit.
Because it was mostly being used as a stick to beat the government with.

I call on my party and my government to remove themselves entirely from X and communicate with the public where they actually participate online and can be protected from such illegality.

Like those Ukrainian mineral deals were ‘negotiated’?

You really believe the military reason? 😂

It is denial - they don’t want to believe it possible that he will do what he says he will do. Well they better disavow themselves of that belief pretty sharpish now.

The grog itself must be considered as a factor in this.

This photo has identifiable faces of people who could be victims. Most news sources are blurring the faces to protect the families. Please consider this.

Best wishes for a fast recovery - Lemsip Max is your friend (other paracetamol laden decongestants are available).

Sorry to hear that Natasha but you are so late to the party with this one - that bug was an early December thing!

This all seems to hinge on what is 'adequate' notification. There were multiple sources for this at the time - I found a note from my employer dated 1995 for example. It was certainly all over the press. How many changes in a law have resulted in you getting a personal letter from the government?

I did a round trip from Pembroke to Rosslare to Waterford and back one day about 28 years ago by ferry and train - in fact the only train that travelled each day in each direction. My first time to Ireland that train was stuck in a different age - both infrastructure & clientel.

I remember being very distressed as a small child to be given a bounty bar - I detested, and still detest, Coconut. After the screaming performance nobody ever tried feeding them to me again 🤢

Could be worse - in Denmark all their postboxes are being removed right now and today was the last day to post a letter in those that were left. Final deliveries of letters on 30th December. Adapting postboxes to take parcels at least gives them hope of a future.

It’s what Americans are actually paying at the grocery store checkout that is affecting their opinion of him.

Yeah - except 2 out of 3 of them got eaten before the wolf got boiled alive when trying to invade the brick house through the chimney. Right outcome, but not a desirable path to get there.

Had the jab but now have pretty bad flu. I guess I’ll have to assume I would have been hospitalised without the jab, but at the moment it really doesn’t feel like it helped too much 😞

Starmer needs to admit the appeasement of the US has completely failed, we have no prospects going it alone, and that we need to get back in the EU ASAP.

The right wing spend £billions on their mission to control the public debate and keep us outraged - it must be worth it to them. It allows them to make more money through their other interests.

Newspapers aren’t about the money any more. They are just tools in controlling the online and broadcast news narrative. Ask yourself why Laura Kuenssberg Sunday programme leads with ‘what’s on the front pages’ or the torrent of material you get from ‘newspapers’ on your social media feeds.

Every time there is a flu wave the NHS is stretched to the limit. This is more related to the funding and staffing situation in the NHS than it is to the size of the wave.

And yet you have people in their management saying that their balance is too far left and they must do more to serve Reform voters. You will not get the ‘house cleaning’ you seek when the rest of the media keep pushing the BBCs needle hard to the right.

It is not just the UK seeking ECHR reforms. Frankly the only way to save the ECHR from destruction by the populists is to adapt the laws to fit the new reality of immigration challenge to the continent.
