Rare case where they are correct in calling someone an antisemite. It may have been an accident, the Zionist may have lobbed it reflexively, but they just so happen to have hit an actual antisemite.

See, I deleted all these tweets I made yesterday predicting that Elon Musk was going to demand that the US help bring Assad back to Syria, just because it felt silly making a prediction like that. But lol.

This Losurdo quote is what yung walken is responding to btw. If this is the "socialist" position you think a US leftist should be defending, you are next to useless to the "third-world" and everyone else. Go be a conservative.

Absolutely perfect showcase of what drives US third-worldism. Yung Walken is talking about Domenic Losurdo. US leftists are taking offense to someone attempting to push labor towards communism and AGAINST the local interests of what are most definitely "labor aristocrats."

I'm going to move to Germany and start doing left-wing terrorist attacks

Hmmmn. One US billionaire can publicly, from the communications platform he owns, attempt to interfere with the British legal process in one instance, then push for pogroms and far-right victory in Germany the next. Not sure how long the current international order is going to hold up!

Pretty good visual metaphor for an economy premised on regimented labor where humans are made into appendages of machines

Fascists are mostly not Sadean perverts, although castration drives them into using sadism in psychic self-defense. They were born into a system of power that is cemented in their ego. Those who want freedom from their power are taken to be a nefarious force.

We love it when the workers give up on the two-party duopoly and start blaming shadowy cabals

I guess they added something new to the DSM. Thank you, Doctor.

There's an insistence in some corners that anyone who sees a throughline in Marx is somehow reaching, or that they're prioritizing obscure but meaningless details. But you don't actually internalize that there's a break unless someone makes that argument to you, usually as an introduction to Marx.

This always gets translated into "Engels called workers irreversibly corrupt labor aristocrats" by twitter geniuses but that is not his point. Engels is saying that workers aren't thinking about policy at all as there is no party organizing in a manner conducive to conscious intervention.

Filters like this are helpful for understanding the phallus in Lacan, I think. These overlays try to isolate some underlying essence in support of a masculinist worldview, but undermine the figure pictured and the significance of the overlay, revealing the fundamental castration of both.

Well. The technology is still manned by, let's say, imperfect people, and not a kind of all-knowing alien intelligence that's currently concealing its power behind a bumbling and foolish facade. Not that there aren't greater obstacles now but the technology technically can't do all the work itself.

The consumer guide for avant-garde music products is telling me the CD as a replacement for vinyl records escapes fetishism. So I have that to look forward to.

One of the many, many problems with this Sakai quote, beyond even how it has trained a certain segment of well-off leftists to scoff at working-class struggles, is it is constantly trotted out to suggest that issues of human emancipation aren't being located in this or that event.

There isn't a Big Other there either! These concepts are not absolutes anywhere, we must live with the same uncertainty no matter where we attempt to use them. Still, if they help you think through a situation, you judge your usage by what analysis or theory you're producing.
