Their actions are a perfect example of biblical idolatry, worshiping a golden calf while ignoring the actual teachings of the god they profess to follow.

My favorite place to read is my bed right before I sleep, which turned out to be a very unfortunate place to read this one. I ended up finishing it on the couch in the middle of a sunny afternoon to save my sanity after three sleepless nights.

I ditched my half-read third book in a series to start reading Staircase in the Woods and woke up 2 hours later than usual today. Those two facts are related 😄

I wonder why he decided to wear that hat and then say those words. Was the hat a conscious choice so the senator who would see him as the friendly ally in the room? If he’s former MAGA, he’s a perfect example of the people we need right now. He can help deprogram the cultists in a way I can’t.
