I keep seeing this as a rebuttal (and "it's not for you" but lol, lmao) but like...who cares? It's more powerful and for what? Devs to still have an impossible time getting their games ported? Few if any exclusives? Twice as powerful to charge you more for...having the brand? Cool?

Given Phil Spencer already seems to be tugging his collar at it yeah, it's the final nail in the coffin that Microsoft has been building them. Easy emulation up to 6th/7th gen, Switch/2, AND all of PC? Over a hundred thousand games with the convenience of a console? Why ever think about Xbox again?

I'm not an artist so take it with a grain of salt but I think for practice it's fine, doing it commercially or for profit is not. It's not really your work at that point is it? Especially in this internet era where you can change some colors or flip it and get a billion more views than the original.

I haven't bought a new game at full price in fuckin' ages, it's just not worth it especially in this economy. I'm the same in craving new games and new experiences but I've been having a good time filling the gaps with fan games and smaller indie titles while I wait for the fires to go out.

I have to think a certain amount of this is people just being done with the game and are getting Rise in the interim of the Iceborne/Sunbreak equivalent but also yeah shocker ever ongoing poor optimization tends to kill the hype for a lot of people.
