I keep seeing this as a rebuttal (and "it's not for you" but lol, lmao) but like...who cares? It's more powerful and for what? Devs to still have an impossible time getting their games ported? Few if any exclusives? Twice as powerful to charge you more for...having the brand? Cool?

I have too many other things that can occupy my time instead of suffering in an arms race the consumer always loses out in. It's more effort than what it's worth, I want Battlefield to be good again but not at the cost of bending over backwards for bullshit anticheats they admit don't fully work.

Yeah BF6 has decided I don't have SecureBoot on even though I know I do. Combine that with already having a ton of reports of cheaters in the beta, performance/server issues, yadda yadda and I'm just not gonna bother. Shit like this is ONLY a negative for the consumer.

Something I'm not seeing talked about enough is this part of the Battlefield 6 system requirements. Needing the consumer to potentially go in and edit their bios in order for the game to even boot, likely for the anti-cheat, is fucking insane to me. Anti-cheats are getting so ridiculously,
