So true. While not an issue for me, my wife's acid reflux requires early dining. (Spain is TOUGH to navigate, so we end up staying up much too late because so many restaurants there do not even open until 8.)

I was lucky enough to see Merle sharing a stage with Kris Kristofferson at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in SF before they passed. Neither ones voice was in perfect form anymore, but they were having fun covering each other's songs. True greats.

I knew a woman, now deceased, whom he impregnated while in college . . . and did not show for the abortion he paid for. Maybe not my story to tell, butte told it to me and she is not alive to tell it.
