The bizarre latter-day Garland apologism we’re seeing is shocking. Dems behaved from literally day one as if they didn’t want to prosecute, dragged their feet and hemmed and hawed, and when the clock literally ran out, people are saying “Oh this proves there’s nothing they could have done.”

Plus, the delay effectively killed the prosecution ONLY BECAUSE THERE WAS NO TIME LEFT TO COMPLETE IT, BECAUSE THEY HAD WAITED SO LONG. This isn’t some big mystery! They waited because Garland and Dem leaders didn’t want to prosecute!
