Just recently finished this book + it was fantastic! My first standalone by him. I’d read the ones co-authored with Stephen King which are some of my favorites. A slow burning, world expanding, story connecting read that explodes at the end in vibrant colors. Next up: Shadow Land by him. Can’t wait!

I just saw a kid playing w a creepy ass action figure that looked straight outta the ‘80s. As I listened to one explain to his friend that they start out cute + fuzzy but turn into this when they touch water, I was amazed that this was a Gremlin action figure. I don’t remember those AT ALL.
