Having setford and porter as our back up keepers seems way to risky. How many first team appearances have them got between them so far in their careers? One I believe. An injury to Raya would literally be a disaster lol

Fair play for being a "real" fan mate. Well done

Im an Arsenal fan, I know exactly what embarrassing looks like, and that's going out of two competitions in 4 days, while not being able to beat one of the worst United sides in a long time at home with 10 men.

I hate spurs, but the bottom line is, they went through.. we didn't.
January 12, 2025 at 7:22 PM
That's just not true is it mate
January 12, 2025 at 7:16 PM
I've got the 2nd highest paid manager in world football who still has to learn on the job, make sense of that.
January 12, 2025 at 7:03 PM
Usually you can't blame the GK, by why was Raya diving so early? And why was he only diving to his left?
January 12, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Better than Elneny, possibly, but there's not much in it
January 12, 2025 at 6:30 PM
According to.. you, Vicarios weaknesses is actually his long passing, surely you cant even be considered one of the best ball playing goalkeepers if you can't play long passes.
January 9, 2025 at 11:39 PM
I could be wrong here as I haven't looked into the numbers, but assuming Vicarios % is so high as he rarely plays risky paces and instead plays it short to the centre backs?

Whats his long passing accuracy %?

Just as an example Buffons short passing accuracy was 98%, while his long ball was 34%

Add to that list

Mbeumo, Semenyo & Sane.

If the clubs stance is that they are unable to find players, maybe we should question the recruitment team at the club.

This is exactly why you hire the best scouts& data/performance analyst

He is the type of signing you make when your squad is nearly complete if that makes sense?
January 9, 2025 at 4:16 PM
I'm not saying I don't rate Havertz, I actually do but I am saying we over paid for a player that wasn't wanted by Chelsea, and now we're having to fill the same positions that we signed havertz to play.

Great squad player, but expensive.
January 9, 2025 at 4:13 PM
He isn't the issue, but with £65 million, we could've signed a player who actually fills a positions.

For example, we signed Havertz to be out LCM, a year later we sign Merino to be our LCM because Havertz is far better as a CF, and now we're in desperate need of a CF.

Tactical mastermind!
January 8, 2025 at 12:06 AM
What about the players who aren't sick or injured though, the martinellis, trossards, jesus etc, I mean tbf my expectations of those three is soo low, the fact martinelli managed to hit the post was a surprise in itself.
January 7, 2025 at 11:32 PM
Oh our attack exceeded your expectations? How so?
January 7, 2025 at 11:29 PM
How come?
January 7, 2025 at 11:25 PM
Please explain what exactly made you feel good amount that?
January 7, 2025 at 11:24 PM
tbf they literally spent more money to get Havertz (to be our LCM😑) than Newcastle spent to get Isak and Gordon.
January 7, 2025 at 11:23 PM
For me, Kudus, Semenyo
Mbeumo and Lookman are the ones I'm really interested in. Even Sane on a cheap as his contract expires in 6 months could be an option
January 1, 2025 at 11:32 AM
Feel like he suits Liverpools style more than Arsenals.

Also, how often does Frankfurt play against a deep block of players camping in their box? I'm sceptical of attacking signings from Bundesliga, the space in that league is mad
January 1, 2025 at 11:29 AM
I'm sure Arendal will look after your players!
